ReplyDeleteI'm not really lovely, just a very ordinary person who happens to be rather stubborn :-)

ReplyDeleteThat's so wonderful!! I found your blog via Milena/Magdalena, after watching Nadya's picture for the LONGEST time and wishing SO that she would find a family! So I'm reading and reading your blog and read something about a "prodigal son", and I thought something sounded familiar, then I saw your picture and I totally recognized you! I read your blog many months (a year?) ago but lost track of you and now I see YOU are the family that is adopting little Nadya! What a small world!
ReplyDeleteWe have had quite a road as well. We were all set to adopt 2 teenagers from this country that we'd established a relationship with; had our dossier 1/2 done and our homestudy all done except the final signature, when someone decided to contact our social worker (along with at least 3 of her friends) and bash our family to the point that he is making us wait a year to see if our son will do better (and yes, he's doing FINE - I always knew he would be just fine!), so we are recovering from that, and not easily, as the kids have now aged out and are on their own, after thinking for several months that they had a family. The last 6 months have been incredibly hard, and I know you would be one to understand.
God bless you, Marsha, and Merry Christmas!!
Yay! Merry Chrismtas!
